Popkorn was started in 2009 by Colin Moxon and Rory Wheeler, specialising in factual documentary-making and cutting-edge digital communication work. Since then we have built up a highly successful output of factual television series and single documentaries for most of the major UK broadcasters, combined with a thriving international sales slate and a digital division that creates original content for some of the country's most prestigious brands.
In 2014, Channel 4 gave Popkorn’s creative talent an enormous vote of confidence by taking a minority shareholding in the company, making Popkorn the first ever Independent Production company to benefit from their ground-breaking Growth Fund.
